Sommelier for an Evening |
A Certified Sommelier (pronounced suh-mal-‘yAy), is formally trained by an accredited organization and is a knowledgeable wine professional, who specializes in all facets of wine service. The role is more specialized and informed than that of a wine waiter. The sommelier has a responsibility to work within the taste preference and budget of the patron.
A sommelier’s role is considered much broader than working only with wines, and must encompass all aspects of service, with an enhanced focus on wines, beers, spirits, soft drinks, cocktails, mineral waters and tobaccos.

Edwin, your Certified Sommelier will work with you to:
- Ascertain your needs
- Offer wine and beverage suggestions
- Be available on the date of your event
In addition, Edwin will service the bar, providing the wine, glasses and essentials, Pour for your guests , and educate and entertain your guests with his knowledge of wine.
